Traveling along the ‘Wild Atlantic Way”

Our driver arrived on Sunday to take us from Killarney to Galway. Although this would normally be only about a 2.5-hour trip, we opted for the scenic route along the Wild Atlantic Way. We even crossed the River Shannon by ferry, visited the incredible and unpopulated Cliffs of Kilkee, watched surfers in Lahinch, and hiked around the Cliffs of Moher. The scenery was some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen!

We arrived in the charming town of Galway in time for dinner and to relax at our hotel before heading to Dublin the next day for embarkation.

The following morning allowed us time to visit the beautiful Galway Cathedral before catching the train to Dublin. Our embarkation process was quick and seamless; however, we did arrive late afternoon, and most passengers had already boarded.

Despite missing most of the embarkation amenities of the Concierge class due to our late arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine. We unpacked, explored the ship, and anticipated our next adventure in Belfast.
